Why does linden honey have a refreshing, slightly minty taste?
Linden honey is made by bees from the nectar of linden flowers, which are naturally slightly minty and fresh. This property is transferred to the honey, which is why many attribute its refreshing taste to it. However, it is not the same menthol as in candies, it is very mild.
Does linden honey crystallize quickly?
Because it contains a relatively high amount of glucose, it can crystallize more quickly than some other types of honey (such as acacia). If you notice it crystallizing, you can gently liquefy it in a water bath (up to 35°C) if desired.

It is often popular with those looking for a refreshing taste, slightly reminiscent of linden tea. Children also like it, but honey is generally not recommended for children under one year of age and pregnant women.
