What does "unheated honey" mean?
It is honey that is not heated to temperatures above 35 °C during extraction and packaging, therefore it retains its natural content of enzymes, vitamins and minerals.
Is unheated honey suitable for children and pregnant women?
Honey is generally not recommended for children under one year of age and pregnant women, regardless of whether it is heated or not.
Why does unheated honey often crystallize faster?
At lower temperatures and without additional heating, crystallization occurs more quickly. This proves that the honey is natural and minimally processed, which is an advantage for many buyers.
Can I liquefy unheated honey if necessary?
Yes, if it crystallizes and you want it back in liquid form, gently heat it in a water bath, at a temperature of up to 35 °C, so as not to damage the nutrients and aromas.
